Mangaluru, Jul 29: Admissions for MA Konkani for the year 2017-18 are in progress. The president of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has announced Rs 20,000 each for the first five students and Rs 10,000 each for the next five students of Konkani post graduate course as scholarships.
Last year only half the fee amount was issued as scholarship. This year, to encourage more number of students to apply the first five students will be paid the full fees of Rs 20.000 as scholarship.
The last date for submission of applications is over. The university will be asked to extend the date. Interested students may visit the evening college of the university at Hampankatta and obtain admissions immediately, states the communique.
