Moodbidri: Depressed by low marks, SSLC student hangs herself at hostel

Moodbidri, Jul 23: A talented badminton player studying in SSLC ended her life in her hostel room by hanging herself on the night of Thursday. She was frustrated at the fact that she had scored below expectation in Hindi examination under formative assessment (FA1).

The girl, identified as Kavya (16), was a state level ball badminton player. She was the daughter of Lokesh fro Yekkar Devagudde.

The local police, who have registered a case, are investigating.

    Very sad.Our Indian education and exam system makes many students to end their life.Please students ,please dont throw away your life so early.You have so much to enjoy,see the life.Because of less marks ,not worth to end life.First ending it,please try to see whether the correction was right or some mistake is there .Apply for recorrection of your papers.Even if marks are less,whats there,try again to write for exam.ALL are not genies.There are so many people ,school left outs are successful in life.Think of your parents who do so much for you,and last what will they do without you?I really pity these parents.Heartfelt sympathy to family.May her soul rest in peace.Second ,in schools they should arrange a person who gives some security to students and help in this way,not to jump immediately for suecide,but take some suggestion ,or students can go to a person who gives them some solution if they find less marks or any doubt .
