Bahrain: Karnataka Social Club inducts new executive committee

Media Release

Bahrain, Jun 24: The Karnataka Social Club held its induction ceremony along with a Welcome Dance recently at the Papillon auditorium.

The club's youth dressed in colourful attire initiated the event by welcoming the members with three dances from well-known Konkani albums. This was followed by one of the former President's of the club, Sydney Correa, introducing each member of the new executive committee. The incoming president, Sunil D'Souza thanked the members for the support they had extended in the past year and hoped the same support will be rendered this year.

The DJ then played contemporary as well as old-time hits to keep the crowd in good cheer till well past mid-night.

A birthday bash for January-April celebrants enabled the younger kids to cut their cake in tandem with the applause from the audience.

The past out-going executive committee members were awarded with a memento for their contribution to the club's growth.

A buffet followed by a lively masala bail concluded the eventful function.
