Moodbidri, Apr 10: 'Bimba Shuddhi' and 'Dhama Samprokshana' of the Thousand Pillar Basadi at Jain Kashi here will be held from Friday April 11 to Sunday April 13 to mark the end of the renovation of the 15th century Basadi.
The event will be marked by plenty of rituals spanning three days, including '1008 Kalasha Mahabhisheka' on April 13.
There will also be cultural programmes comprising poets' meet on April 11 and yakshagana 'Bhagwan Sri Chandraprabha Mahatme' by Sri Charukeerthi Yaksha Kala troupe on the same day.
Music lovers will be treated to a jugalbandi by Mysore Manjunath and group on April 13.
The Basadi was renovated jointly by Shree Jain Math, Dharmothana Trust of Shree Dharmasthala and ITACT together with the help of philanthropists and others.
