Bangalore, Apr 9: Police on Tuesday claimed that they managed to extract a "lot of information" from Sabauddin, the 'mastermind' of the 2005 terror attack on the Indian Institute of Science, during a narco analysis test conducted on him in Bangalore.
"Sabauddin was subjected to narco analysis test for about four-and-a-half-hours. We were able to elicit a lot of information from him, which needs to be analysed and evaluated," Director of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), BM Mohan said in Bangalore on Tuesday.
"This will be followed by polygraph and brain mapping tests to get the total picture," Mohan said.
Sabauddin, who is being questioned by police for the past one week, was believed to be the kingpin behind the terror strike on the premier institute in which a professor was killed.
Police sought the custody of Sabauddin, one of the six militants nabbed by the central security agencies recently in connection with IISc attack, by filing an application in the Lucknow court on February 10, 2008.
