Mangalore, Apr 6: "Nothing can stop BSP from coming to power in the state," challenged Veersingh, general secretary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
He was delivering the inaugural address at the party workers' Convention held at the Town hall here on Saturday April 5.
Terming the forthcoming polls as crucial and decisive, the general secretary pointed out that the Dalit community has been ruled by various political parties, but none of them have been the least bit concerned about the well-being of the community. BSP is the only alternative party left, to ensure that the dream of a well-developed community and society at large is fulfilled, he indicated.
"The Dalit community has merely remained as a vote bank for various political parties. But the impending polls will teach such parties and politicians a new lesson. The community will no longer be a just a vote bank but instead will become a community of quality king makers," he prophesied.
The political image of the BJP, Congress and JD(S) will be tarnished in the coming assembly polls. It will not be a surprise if BSP gets an overwhelming majority. Hence party workers must get ready to work hard in-order to cross political mile-stones, he exhorted his party men.
Office bearers of the party were present on the occasion.
