Udupi, May 21: Quality and luxury was redefined with 'Mandavi Acropolis', a prestigious residential apartment project by Mandavi Builders and Developers, being inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, by Sri Laxmivarateertha Swamiji of Shiroor Math, Udupi here on Sunday, May 21.
Fr Godfrey Saldanha, parish priest of St Joseph Church, Neermarga offered an invocation prayer and blessed the project, seeking God's grace upon the Jerry Vincent Dias family.
In his inaugural address, Sri Laxmivarateertha Swamiji said, "Acropolis adds another beautiful feather to Udupi's plumed cap. Jerry and his family have contributed much to our society. They aim to satisfy the consumer's needs at a reasonable price. There is a severe sand crisis in the coastal districts, but everyone hopes that it gets cleared soon."
Former MLA Udupi K Raghupathi Bhat said, "Udupi looks more beautiful with this project. The prestige of the city has been further raised. Udupi is suitable for developing residential apartments, and Kaup is best suited for industrial development. There is a bright future for capital investors and real estate businessmen in both places."
Yashpal Suvarna, president of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Fisheries Association inaugurated the gymnasium segment of the building. Jayakar Shetty Indrali, general manager of Badagubettu Credit Co-operative Society, and Mohammed Moula, president of Muslim Welfare Association, Udupi launched the two clubhouses.
Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, president, city municipality council declared the swimming pool open. Children inaugurated the kids play segment.
Glen Dias presented the features and specifications of the project. Jerry Vincent Dias delivered the welcome note. Sandeep Bhakta compered the programme.
