Ballari, May 9: Leader of the opposition in the legislative council K S Eshwarappa on Monday May 8, here said that he and Yeddyurappa were united.
He appealed to the media not to create confusion regarding his relationship with former chief minister and state BJP chief B S Yeddyurappa.
“Yeddyurappa and I are not like India and Pakistan,” Eshwarappa said.
Eshwarappa also added that he and Yeddyurappa were together at the state executive meeting of BJP held in Mysuru on Saturday and Sunday.
However, Eshwarappa also said that the activities of the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade will not stop.
Eshwarappa demanded that the state government should bring out a White Paper on drought relief works. “Rs 900 crore out of the funds released by the Centre to the state for drought relief is yet to be spent,” he said.
