Mangaluru, Apr 29 : Sr Irene D’ Souza has just completed 50 years of her religious profession in the Apostolic Carmel congregation. While this is the time to celebrate the event, it is also an opportunity to thank her for serving the downtrodden relentlessly for 5 decades.
Sr Irene was born in a family of 9 children in Urwa in city. Her father Cyril D’ Souza, lived a principled life and mother Agnes D’ Souza, was a loving and homely lady. The couple brought up their children with piety and deep faith in Almighty. These things motivated young Irene to serve the children of God.
