Mangalore, Mar 18: During the Lions District 324 D-5 convention held on March 15 and 16, 2008 at St Aloysious College grounds, MJF Ln K Mohan Kamath from Lions Club of Mangalore has unanimously been elected for the post of District Governor and MJF Lion Alwyn P Patrao from Lions Club of Kinnigoli has won the election for the post of vice-district-Governor for the Year 2008-2009.

Ln K Mohan Kamath is an industrialist by profession and brother of K V Kamath, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank Ltd.  Ln Kamath announced his district cabinet for the year 2008-09.  He has nominated Ln Arun Shetty as secretary, Ln Michael D'Souza as treasurer and Ln Ronald Gomes as governor's coordinator.
