Mangalore, Mar 15: Karnataka Prantha Raita Sangha (KPRS) will organize a one-day state-level symposium on problems related to land in DK district on Monday March 17 at Town Hall here.
Addressing media persons here on Friday March 14, K Yadav Shetty, district chief secretary of KPRS said that papers on land reforms and on Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will be presented by Prof Chandrashekar Damle, Nehru Memorial College, Sullia, and B Madhava, district secretary of CPI (M) respectively.
Maruti Manpade, state president and J C Bayyareddy, state chief secretary of KPRS will be the chief guest while K R Shriyan of Raita Sangha will preside over the symposium. M H Krishnappa, leader of Raita Sangha will be felicitated on the occasion, he added.
