Mangaluru: Accident victim auto driver succumbs to injuries

Mangaluru, April 4: Auto driver K C Road resident Sheikh Moidin(65) who was admitted in the hospital after meeting with an accident died in the hospital on Monday, April 3.

Moidin had sustained serious head injuries after his auto had collided with a Maruthi Omni car on the highway when he was driving towards the auto rikshaw park after refuelling at Kotekar Petrol pump on Saturday, April 1.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Deralakatte but died without responding to treatment.

The deceased is survived by his wife, son and three daughters.

Ullal Police have taken the car driver into custody.
