Mysuru, Apr 2: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Member of Parliament Shobha Karandlaje has complained to the Election Commission alleging irregularities and breach of guidelines during the Nanjangud by-election.
Shobha has also said that officials from election commission and the police personnel are turning a blind eye to the incidents and instead committing atrocities against BJP workers.
Shobha submitted the complaint to district election officer D Randeep in Nanjangudu on Saturday.
She told the election officer that officials are not granting permission for the public gathering to be attended by union minister Ananthkumar, but chief minister Siddaramaiah and Congress leaders get permission to hold any meeting anywhere.
