Mangalore: CPI(M) Office Receives Threat Letter

Mangalore, Mar 13: Suspected Sangh Parivar activists have issued a threat to the district unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in the wake of the ongoing violence at Kannur in Kerala. A threat letter found in front of the Belthangady office of the party warned workers that the events in Kerala would have repercussions in the region.

Speaking to The Hindu, district secretary of the CPI (M) B. Madhava said that party workers found the letter near the office door, on Wednesday morning. The letter was signed with the words, “Jai Hind, Jai Sri Ram.”

The party has registered a complaint with the Belthangady police.
