Udupi: 'Budweiser 6v6 Cup' Road Show Reaches Manipal

Udupi, Mar 9: The Budweiser 6v6 Cup road show has come to Manipal to bring the excitement of the upcoming tournament to local football fans. It will give them an opportunity to register for the Budweiser 6v6 Cup 2008, 'Float-on-wheels' Bud Cup truck as the said road show reached Tiger Circle here on Saturday March 8.

The road show is indeed a special occasion for football lovers for the forthcoming 2008 Budweiser 6v6 Cup to enroll their name. This is for the first time in India that it has been organized. It will select the player to represent the country in Budweiser cup final.
 
Addressing media persons here Budweiser marketing division head of India, Anil Manjunath informed that the selected team would participate in 2008 Budweiser Cup 6v6 football tournament which will be held at Manchester in England. At this tournament in addition to the Indian team there will be 17 other teams participating in the competition. The Indian team will be selected during this road show he added.

The Budweiser Cup truck is on a five-week road show across Maharastra, Goa, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will be taking part in the semi final which will be held in Mumbai and the winner will be going to Manchester. According to Manjunath this road show will held on Monday, March 10, in Mysore on March 13, Bangalore March 15, 16, and 17.
