Bengaluru, Mar 14: Karnataka animal husbandry minister, A Manju, said that prices of Nandini brand of milk being marketted with different labels will be upwardly revised shortly.

Giving this information to media persons on Monday March 13, Manju noted that the state is reeling under drought and therefore the farmers deserve better price for milk they produce. "We already have held a round of discussions on this issue with officials. Milk Producers Union too has given its nod for the price hike. Currently Karnataka Milk Federation's milk is priced six to seven rupees per litre less as compared to milk marketed by private concerns," he pointed out.
