Mysuru, Mar 3: Former chief minister and state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa has threatened that he will file a defamation case against chief minister Siddaramaiah for repeatedly calling him most corrupt.
Yeddyurappa was speaking to reporters here on Thursday, March 2.
“Siddaramaiah calls me most corrupt again and again. I have planned to file defamation case against him for this. While courts have acquitted me in corruption cases, how can he call me corrupt? On what basis, he makes the allegations? I do not bow down to pressure tactics,” Yeddyurappa said.
“If he has guts, let him order CBI probe into Govindaraju and Lehar Singh diary cases.” he challenged.
“If the diary cases are probed by CBI, then it will be proved that Siddaramaih’s family received kickbacks from the steel flyover project. Siddaramaiah is the most corrupt chief minister the nation has ever seen.” he continued.
“Minister K J George should resign relating to steel flyover scam. But I will not be happy if he alone resigns. I demand Siddaramaih’s resignation as well.” Yeddyurappa concluded.
