Coolpad Cool S1 to be available in India from May

New Delhi, Mar 2 (IANS): Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad's flagship device Cool S1 will be available in India in May.

According to company sources, Cool S1 will arrive in India in the second quarter this year.

Coolpad showcased the device at the just-concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.

Launched in December in China last year, Cool S1 concentrates on music and game and targets the youth.

The device is fitted with Harman Kardon's tone tuning technology.

During the MWC, Harman Kardon officially rewarded Coolpad the authentication certificate on high-quality sound, which is the first certificate ever that Harman has issued to a smartphone brand.

The "Clari-Fi" technology in Cool S1 revives the compressed MP3 and WMV files better.

The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display and is powered by 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM.

The phone packs 32GB internal storage cannot be expanded. Coolpad Cool S1 packs a 16MP primary camera and a 8MP front shooter.

Cool S1 runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 4,070mAh non removable battery that guarantees four hours 3D mobile games playing.
