Udupi, Feb 24: "Spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi will undertake a two-day visit Udupi starting Saturday, February 25, at 4.30 pm at MGM College Ground, here," informed former MLA Raghupathi Bhat at a press meet in this regard.
“Udupi will witness Amma's visit and Shri Mata Amrithanandaymayi Seva Samithi Udupi will be organising the 'Amma in Udupi' programme. Devotees from Goa, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga will participate in the programme. The committee plans to arrange lunch for 50,000 devotees and dinner for 60,000," he said.
"Manipal University will provide 25 trained security guards to the handle the programme after the stage programme. We expect 50,000 devotees to participate. Tokens will be made available by Amma's followers to devotees to meet her separately. Amma will give individual Darshan to those devotees and hug all token-holders. The committee has also arranged transports facilities,” he added.
Parking Facility
"Two-wheelers can be parked near the UMMC College Manipal Ground. Four wheeler parking space will be made available at English Medium School. Other vehicles will be allotted a parking place at Royal Garden, Udupi. There is a 24-hour facility to pick and drop devotees from the parking area," he said.

"Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Brahmacharini Mangalmurti Chaitanya, Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi Mangalore members will be present on the stage. Rituals like Satsang Bhajan meditation will also take place," informed Bhat.
Shri Mata Amrithanandaymayi Seva Samithi vice president Ramesh Kanchan, Dinesh Puthran, Kishan Hegde and others attended the press meet.
