Mangalore: Three Held for Forging Passports in Separate Cases

Mangalore, Feb 23: Close on the heels of the arrest of a person by Bajpe airport officials earlier this week, immigration police of the airport came across another similar case on Friday, February 22.

Muhammed Rasheed (28), who tried to travel to Dubai using a forged passport was nabbed by the immigration police when he was about to board the flight. A case has been registered against him. Rasheed is a resident of Nalkur in Mani village near Bantwal.

Meanwhile, Canadian police arrested two persons for traveling there using forged passports. The arrested are Mukesh Bhai and Neerubhai of Gujarat. They used the passport of a certain Khayamuddin Masood Chowdhri and Qutub Amir Khan Chowdhri of Canada.

They traveled to Bahrain first from Mangalore. Thereafter they continued their journey to Canada via London, before being arrested by the Canadian police. Both the culprits have been handed over to India.
