Bengaluru: Politics is not business, Krishna should know this – Kagodu Thimmappa

Daijiworld Media Network-Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Feb 3: “It is very unfortunate that senior leader S M Krishna has attacked Congress party after enjoying several posts. No one should desire for posts in politics as it is a service to the society. It is not business. A senior politician like S M Krishna should know this.” said state revenue minister Kagodu Thimmappa on Thursday, February 2 here.

“No leader in entire South India held posts like Krishna did. He held several top posts in his four-decade association with the Congress party. He would have become Congress state chief again, had he involved more in strengthening the party.” Kagodu added.

It is remembered that both Kagodu Thimmappa and S M Krishna are of the same age of 84.

Black mark

Meanwhile Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president Dinesh Gundu Rao, commenting on the exit of S M Krishna from Congress, said “One cannot condemn the food after a sumptuous meal with lot of varieties, just because sour curd was part of the meal. It is a black mark on the veteran leader as he has quit the party after enjoying so much of power.”

Only job in India has no retirement age is politics. If one jobless enter into politics or just become Sadhu maharaja you will earn more than white collar job.

Mr.Krishna has got more share in his political tenure from Congress. During his regime Congress has free fall from absolute majority to mere numbers.

If he has due respect to his party he should continue rather than changing party like ND Tiwari with marred reputation.

Olden days politics was for SOCIAL SERVICE. Now a days the equation has changed in favour of gains. People enter in politics for gains. Once they have done with it they blame the party and leave. I had lot of respect for S M Krishna But now I have lost it I have lost all faith in politicians I feel its sad turn fo events in politics nowadays. Horrible things happenings.

Mr. Thimappa, who told you politics in not business? From where did you get this idea? Thimappa uncle, it is no longer a vocation. It is a profession. Not social service any longer. Politics is the last refuge of scoundrels.

Deep down in his heart, Mr Krishna is a Politician but pretended to show he is a Statesman. He has enjoyed power for decades and cannot be without it. Cannot expect anything better. To harm the party which helped him survive in politics and enjoy power all these years especially when elections are on in the north and north-eastern India is condemnable. Opportunist to the core.
