Mangalore, Feb 13: Complaint application forms will be distributed to the general public by the Lokayukta deputy superintendent of police and police inspector, who will visit the scheduled places, informed a press release issued by the city police.
This is done in accordance with the Lokayukta Act. The duly filled forms along with the affidavit from a notary affixed to it must be submitted, added the release.
The complaints may range anywhere from delay in official works in government departments, to harassment by government officials all of which can be mentioned in the application forms by the public. All these issues will be resolved on the spot immediately, informed the release.
Moreover, according to the release the scheduled place and date for submitting application forms are as follows: gram panchayat office, Bantwal taluk on February 14, 10.30 am to 1.00 pm; Bantwal gram panchayat office, Sullia taluk.
On February 16, 10.30 am to 1.00 pm; Nellyadi gram panchayat office, Puttur taluk, February 22, 10.30 am to 1.00 pm; Mangalore Lokayukta Police SP office. On February 19, 10.30 am to 1.00 pm; and taluk office premises, February 19 from 3.30 pm to 5 pm in Belthangady taluk.
An appeal has been made to the general public to avail of this opportunity, as per the release.
