Bangalore, Feb 12: Sandalwood heartthrob Ganesh got married to his girl friend Shilpa from Brahmavar, Udupi district on Monday February 11.

Sources said that it was a low affair marriage with only the families and friends of the couple present for the function. However, grand reception is expected to be held at Windsor Manor Hotel, Bangalore, on February 23.

Shilpa, a divorcee with a young kid, is a maternal relative of Ganesh. Though initial reports had stated that the couple would marry on February 18, plans suddenly changed much to the surprise of many.

Friends of the actor said that it is an arranged marriage but sources said that they have been having affair for the last two years. Sources also said that Ganesh managed to keep his love life under wrap by not revealing it even to his close friends and filmmakers.

The hero of Mungaru Male fame at first denied the news of his marriage but later had declared that he would announce the date of his marriage soon.
