Mangalore: PFI Rally to Arrive at Suratkal, Ullal on Feb 11

Mangalore, Feb 9: As part of the state-wide public awareness campaign 'Peoples March for a New Karnataka,' organized by Popular Front of India (PFI) February 8 to 22, a vehicle rally will arrive at Suratkal and Ullal on Monday February 11 at 11 am and 7 pm respectively.

This was revealed by Mohammad, a member of state committee of PFI at a press conference here on Saturday February 9.

The campaign will discuss the plight of the farmers, backward classes and religious minorities, he added.

K M Sharif, president of Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) will lead the rally. The rally will be received by AMM Shafi, treasurer of the KFD while Rajaram of Dalit Sangarsha Samiti and others will be the chief guests.

Abdul Aziz, Aboobkar Kulai and other organizers were present at the press conference.
