I'll Trample the Goondaism of UP, Bihar: Raj Thackeray

Rediff

Mumbai, Feb 9:  Invoking the issue of Marathi pride, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday hit out at North Indians again, after lying low for two days.

In a special article written by him in the Marathi daily Maharashtra Times, Thackeray said, "Even if the whole world opposes my stand, I and my party will continue the struggle to protect Marathi culture, Maharashtrian people and will trample the goondaism of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar."

The article titled "Majhi bhumika, majha ladha" (My stand, my struggle) said, "At this juncture, I feel like asking the Maharashtrian people that if I am voicing your true emotion, then why are you sitting on the fence. Come join me in this struggle."

"Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi took up the issue of Tamils living in Malaysia, then why can't the MNS chief speak for Maharashtrians," the article asked.

Raj said," If the Prime Minister can rake up the issue of ban on turbans for the Sikhs in France when the French President came to India, if Karunanidhi could take up the issue of problems of Tamils in Malaysia with the Malaysian government, if the Hindi channels in Mumbai spew venom against Maharashtra while supporting the people from UP and Bihar, then how come I am dubbed as a goonda when I speak  about the self-respect of the state ?".

Raj thackery needs utmost publicity, he wants to be popular among Maharastrians and want to show them his interest towards the state. This is just one small issue which public should realise.

Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav & Amar Singh, people might have appreciated you if you would have improved the infrastructure of UP during your tenure. You should have called your peolpe back to UP by attracting the investors there, instead in your tenure you used Goondaism in your state & not even bothered to improve the cities & when you were out of power you realise that UP people are important.

Raj Thackery is right as long as his statements considered. Because whole country knows how the people are of these 2 states. Also people knows how dense mumbai is in population!

Barking Dogs Don't Bite. That is What Raj Thackeray is. He sits in his palatial home, surrounded by High Security and threatens Common man. Gandhiji used Non Violence for India's Independence by driving out Britishers. Now these small time Politicians are using Goondism and Polluted Politics to drive away Non Maharashtrians. God Save this Country from these Selfish, Greedy, Jealous and Evil Politician who brew Hatred.

If we go by the words of Raj Thackeray, then shall we come a conclusion that all non maharashtrians has no place in Mumbai. Why the same rule is not applied to all cities of India? Then what will happen to a maharashtirian living in Bangalore/Delhi/Jaipur/Gandhinagar etc. etc. Raj does not have to go out of Mumbai, but others are required. Raj is putting his own people at risk in other states. It is nothing but suicide. Raj please answer me.
