Mangalore, Feb 7: Bruhat Nava Chaitanya Samavesha of state Youth Congress Party will be held during the first week of March, in the suburbs of Bangalore. Rahul Gandhi, youth Congress leader will inaugurate the convention which will be graced by the party leaders, said T M Shahid, general secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress, here at a press conference on Thursday February 7.

He further said that similar training programme will be held in the district. The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has decided to hold a two-day training programme for block presidents and office bearers of youth Congress during the last week of the March, in order to draw youngsters to the secular stream, so as to avert the district from falling prey to the communal forces and to part youngsters from the instigation of Sangh Pariwar, he added.

Youngsters from Hinduism and Islam faiths should not be lured to the instigations of communal forces, instead they should help police to curb the communal violence and thus help in strengthening peace and harmony in the district, he urged.

Vishwas Das, Namita Balakrishna, Nitin Gatti and others were present at the press conference.
