Thank you readers: Your support to Belman's Wilson generates Rs 11 lac

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jan 11: Daijiworld readers have once again, with their immense generosity, brought smiles and hope to a family in need. This time, Wilson Andrade of Belman, who needed financial support after meeting with an accident, has been bestowed with a new ray of hope with over Rs 11 lac pouring in for his medical care.

The appeal was published on daijiworld on December 18. Wilson Andrade (27), a resident of Belman, met with an accident on November 26 at Mulky-Karnad junction, and slipped into coma. He and his two sisters were looked after by Wilson and Joyce Tellis. Despite the odds, Wilson was able to do quite well and got his sisters married. But everything changed after the unfortunate accident.

Joyce Tellis, who has been taking care of Wilson in the hospital, has thanked all the donors and people who remembered Wilson in their prayers.

"Many people have visited Wilson in the hospital and offered their prayers. Many of them called me and enquired about Wilson and that was something we never expected. We thank each and everyone who extended a helping hand. We want to inform everyone that we have received a sum of Rs 11.5 lac in the account we had opened to receive the donations. Out of this, some amount was collected by Wilson's friends and family members."

"Today Wilson is still unconscious but is responding to the treatment in the step down observation ward. He is opening his eyes involuntarily and this has given us hope. We pray that he recovers soon and leads a normal life once again."

We at daijiworld thank our readers for their generosity, altruism and prayers for Wilson's speedy recovery. God bless us all.

Your generosity helped them too:
