New Delhi, Dec 14 (IANS): In another first, Chinese smartphone maker nubia on Wednesday launched a "bezel-less" flagship smartphone Z11 in India that also features NeoVision 6.0 -- a DSLR-like photography system.
nubia Z11 will be available at Rs 29,999 on Amazon.in and registration to book the device will open from December 16.
"Since our establishment, nubia has continuously broken new ground, creating many technological firsts from raising the bar in smartphone photography, to opening up new screen interaction," Eric Hu, Country Manager nubia India, told reporters here.
The 5.5-inch full-HD nubia Z11, launched in the presence of Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and sports 16-MP rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor.
The device features "Frame interactive Technology 2.0 (FiT 2.0)" with "Handheld Electronic Aperture".
The "Handheld Electronic Aperture", powered by nubia HIS (Hand-Held Image Stabilisation) technology, supports up to 72 second long handheld exposure to easily capture all kinds of complex scenes, the company said.
The smartphone runs on nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, comes with USB Type-C and a 3,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The company also unveiled another device -- nubia N1 -- at Rs 11,999 that comes with 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and features 5.5 inch full-HD display.
The device is equipped with new battery technology called NeoPower which combines a 5000mAh battery, system optimisation, low-power consumption and high-performance hardware, to achieve a battery life of 3.1 days for normal usage and 1.9 days for heavy users, the company said in a statement.
The smartphone sports 13MP rear and front camera and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based nubia 4.0 UI.
