Bengaluru, Oct 30: The police investigating the murder of Hindu activist, Rudresh in the city a few days back have claimed that the four arrested accused have links with a Kerala-based organization with rightist leaning, backed by a political party.
The arrested accused, Wasim Ahmed from Austin Town, Muhammed Mazhar from J C Nagar, Muhammed Mujeebullah from R T Nagar and Irfan from Govindpura here, have been remanded to 14 days police custody.
The police say that Wasim has claimed that he himself attacked Rudresh with sword. As per information, he was trained in this job by an organizations of which he used to attend meetings, as per the admissions of his own family members. Policemen are putting together evidences to prove that the accused were preparing to incite two communities to clash with each other.

Wasim had gone to Kerala two days after the murder of Rudresh. Initial reports said that Wasim was in the habit of taking part in training camps being organized in Kerala by certain organizations. It is said that he also went to Andhra Pradesh and met some people at Kuppam there. Police personnel have been looking into possibilities of some other forces joining hands with the accused in the murder.
The policemen are also pooling evidences to counter the claim of Wasim's parents that their son is innocent and that he was in the house watching television programs when the said murder was committed.
