Bengaluru, Oct 25: "The killing of Karthik Raj at Asaigoli near Konaje, Mangaluru just because he believed in Hindutva happens to be a political murder committed by Jihadist forces. How many more Hindu activists have to lay down their lives in this way before you can take effective steps?" happens to be the question directed at state home minister, G Parameshwar, by state president of BJP, B S Yeddyurappa.
Condemning the murder, he said in a press statement that a systematic conspiracy is behind the murders of BJP and Hindu activists. Observing that all these murders are taking place in a particular way, he blamed the government for failing to a ct against the culprits.
"After how many murders by Jihadi forces will you break your silence on the issue? This happens to be also the question being posed by nationalists. We expect an honest reply from the home minister," he stated.
Yeddyurappa observed that like in previous cases of murder, sword was used in the murder of Kathik Raj and miscreants were riding a two-wheeler. "For the specific reason of camouflage themselves, the culprits had covered their faces with helmet and clothes. The murder of Hindu activist, Rudresh, had happened exactly in similar fashion," he recollected.
He suspected involvement of forces owing allegiance to a single entity in these murders. He added that he is clear about the involvement of Popular Front of India in these activities. He accused the government of having a soft corner for this organizations as a result of which murders of this kind are happening on regular basis.
