Geneva, Aug 24 (IANS): Sepp Blatter, who has stepped down as the world football governing body FIFA's president for corruption, will file his final challenge against the six-year ban on Thursday.
The 80-year-old Swiss has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) trying to revoke a suspension imposed by FIFA, reports Xinhua.
Blatter said he's confident about the final ruling but his chance for victory seems to be slim.
Arguments at the CAS hearing are expected to last just one day, but it may take several weeks before they reach a final decision.
