Mangalore, Dec 4: The town planning officers of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) have resumed the demolition of unauthorized structures within the city, once again.
The MCC authorities here demolished two buildings on Monday, December 3rd morning. As a direct consequence to which the owners of the buildings had to incur heavy loss. The MCC officials furnished the information that the first shed they demolished was the one which was located near the Pumpwell weigh bridge which had been in existence for the past several years.
Another shed was the one which had also been built illegally. It was built in the side as a temporary structure while the construction of a building there, was taking place. Later even after the said building was constructed, the shed was not demolished by the owners of the building. Instead, they started utilizing it illegally for storage purposes, explained the authorities.
