Mangalore, Nov 24: Weltha’s/Furtado’s outlet was inaugurated on Saturday November 24 at 11 am at Willy's Centre, Balmatta, Mangalore.
Oscar Weltha welcomed the gathering at the beginning. This was followed by the prayer lead by Immanuel Bhaskar, chief warden, KACES Hostel.
Fr Fred Pereira, Director St. Anotny's Home, Mangalore inaugurated the shop by cutting the ribbon. Lighting of lamp was done by Oscar and Sunathra, Ross Weltha, Antony Gomes, Joseph Gomes and Philip Rodrigues.
S D Aiman, associate presbyter, Shanthi Cathedral blessed the shop.
Retired bishop C L Furtado of CSI Karnataka Southern Diocese spoke on the occasion.
Antony Gomes greeted all the guests.Fr Denis D’sa, administrator, Fr Muller Medical College and Hospital raised the toast. Sunathra Weltha proposed the vote of thanks and Neil D’Souza compered the programme.
