  • Canara High School, Urwa, was crowned the overall champion

Mangalore, Nov 21: Every sentence the guests spoke was punctuated by the beat of drums, so much so that the emcee had to quieten them.

The boisterous environment inside the Town Hall was a reflection of the high adrenalin levels among the students who participated in the maiden Corporation Bank-sponsored The Hindu Young World Fest on Tuesday. Canara High School, Urwa, was crowned the overall champion.

Malavika, who was the chief guest at the valedictory and prize distribution function of the two-day fest, told students that the days they spent participating in events such as this would be the ones that they would remember for the rest of their lives.
