Rome, Jun 10 (IANS): Pescara secured its return to Italy's Serie A after beating Trapani 3-1 in the Serie B football play-off final.
The match was played on Thursday night.
The side will join Crotone and Cagliari in the Italian top flight next season, reports Xinhua.
Pescara is currently coached by Massimo Oddo. As a player, he was part of the Italian squad that won the 2006 World Cup.
Frosinone, Carpi and Verona were relegated from Serie A. Juventus were the champions.
