Kundapur, Nov 3: An attempt, to assault the editor of ‘Hosabaduku’ Sashidhar Hemmady was made by the Bhajrangadal workers, while the former was on the way to the press agency.
The democratic youth federation of India and the press club of the town condemned the incident. It took place on NH 17 near Hotel Sangam when the bandh was under progress under the leadership of Girish of Bhajrangadal.
The workers of Bhajrangadal could not tolerate the sincere, faithful and objective reporting by Shashidhar Hemmady of ‘Hosabaduku’ who of-late has been at the forefront to maintain communal harmony and vent voice to the pain and sufferings of the oppressed.
The DYFI and the press club of the town took action against Girish, leader of Bhajrangadal.
