Lourdes central school welcomes new batch in unique way

Mangaluru, Jun 3: The new academic year 2016-2017 began with fun, work and play. June 1 and June 2 were memorable and remarkable days for KG 2 and KG 1 respectively of Lourdes Central School.

































Parents along with their kids were welcomed by the principal Fr Robert D’Souza, manager Fr Wilson Vitus L D’Souza, co-ordinator Lydia D’Souza along with the class teachers Linet, Metilda, Lavita, Grace, Prema, Gloria.

Identity cards were handed out to the parents to identify their ward. A unique way of handing over their child into the arms of the manager Fr Wilson Vitus L D’Souza and principal Fr Robert D’Souza was followed at LCS.

The children were taken to their respective classrooms in a loving way.

The first day of the school's journey began for the little ones of LCS with an introduction from the teachers along with fun and frolic. Smart board rhymes were used to make them happy. Lollipops were distributed and children were left at 10.00 am. The joy over their faces when the little ones got back to their parents was immense. The aim of the teachers at LCS is to help and guide the little ones and to take care of these precious gems as they are handed over to the school's care.
