Bantwal: Falling tree results in death of man

Bantwal, Jun 2: A person, who was working under a coconut tree, died after the tree got uprooted due to heavy rain and wind and fell directly on him. The incident occurred at Kanyana village near Vittal on Tuesday May 31 evening.

Sulaiman (41) from Mundyur near Kanyana was killed in this tragic incident. When he was working under a coconut tree near his home, the tree unexpectedly fell on him. The accident inflicted deep injuries on his head. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Vittal, but he was not alive when he reached the hospital.

Vittall police have registered a case and begun investigation.
