Karkala, Jun 2: All science and commerce students of Christ King PU college, have passed in the PU board examination 2016 and the school has secured 100% result.
A total of 68 students answered the exam in both the subjects. Of these, 21 students scored distinction and 42 students secured first class.
In commerce, Vinola Preemal D'Souza scored the highest with 588 out of 600 (98%). She also stood seventh in commerce in the state.
Vinola's subjectwise scores are english-98, hindi-98, economics-95, business studies-100, accountancy-99 and computer science-98.
The distinction scorers in commerce are: Princia V Britto-571 (95.16%), Stephy Santhamayor-569 (94.83%), Rakshitha-560 (93.33%), Rayyan Khan-560 (93.33%), Salva Thaj-557 (92.83%), Ambrain Banu-554 (92.33%), Priya-553 (92.16%), Preemal D'Mello-549 (91.5%), Don Alen D'Mello-542 (90.33%), Preema Zeena Monis-539(89.83%), Shrey J Shetty-538 (89.67%), Syed Afrid-529 (88.16%), Gravin Castelino-527 (87.83%), Minaz-525(87.5%), Stanford B D'silva-521 (86.83%), Nishmitha Padmashali-516 (86%).
The distinction scorers in science are Safwan Ahamed-559 (93.16%), Liriya D'Souza-531 (88.5%), Sandesh Shett-521 (86.83%), Romario Tom-519 (86.5%).
The college also celebrated its 25th anniversary on a grand note.
