Mangalore, Oct 30: The prize distribution programme of sports competitions organized to school students by Star Friends Association, Bhatrakere near Permude as part of their silver jubilee celebrations  will be held at Government Urdu School, Bhatrakere on Thursday November 1,

U B Mohammed, founder president of Star Friends Association will be felicitated on this occasion.

Former MLA Vijay Kumar Shetty, Jagdish C Shetty correspondent of Popular Bunts English Medium School of Malavoor, JD (S) district secretary M Sureschandra Shetty, K Bhaskar Das Yekkar, JD (S) district vice-president J S Noronha, Zilla Panchayat member Victoria D’Cunha, taluk panchayat vice-president Suresh Shetty, Bajpe sub-inspector Ramesh Kumar, taluk panchayat member Lawrence Rebello, Permude Gram Panchayat former president Ullas R Shetty, film actor Surya, Urdu school head teacher Vijayalakshmi, L V Amin, Mustaq Hussain, Keshav Devadiga, Sudeep R Amin, Bhaskar Malli and Surendra Pergade, will be the chief guests of the occasion.
