Mangaluru, May 15 : Do not panic, you have at least two months time. If you had prepared well for recently held PU board exams, then you need not worry. But you must be serious about your preparation. Another two months are very crucial for you. If you are focused, you work hard and prepare well, then definitely you can reach the goal.
First and foremost, you must immediately go through the recently held AIPMT question paper and also of previous three years. Then you will get a fair idea of difficulty level of NEET. Unlike CET, there will be a negative correction if you wrongly answer any question. What you need is a good practice for speed and accuracy. You will gain speed when you answer practice papers consciously and cautiously. Accuracy can be gained only when you become more thorough in the subject. For this you need to devote more time in each subject like Physics , Chemistry , Botany and Zoology. Do not waste time.
Sleep for not less than 6 hours and not more than 7 hours every day. If you are attending any coaching classes, do not miss any of the classes and also prepare well for the topic before you attend the classes. You need to keep in mind the following points when you write NEET 2.
There will be
1) Total of 180 questions.
2) 45 each for Physics , Chemistry , Botany and Zoology.
3) 4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for wrong. No marks for questions not attempted.
4) Maximum marks can be 720.
5 ) Eligibility through NEET 2 is 50 percent for general category and 40 percent for OBC , SC and ST
6) Exam on 24 July, 2016 between 10 am to 1 pm.
7 ) No rank will be announced if the marks in NEET2 is below 360 for general category and below 288 for OBC , SC and ST
8 ) Seat allotment pattern will remain like previous years, but only on the basis of rank in NEET.
Those who prepare well and work hard will definitely succeed. Any effort and hard work which you put in sincerely will never become a waste.
