Panaji, Oct 24: Twenty-two people were hospitalized following a suspected gas leakage in a scrap yard at Mapusa town, 10 kms away from here, police said on Wednesday October 24.
The incident occurred late on Tuesday night when the work to break a huge metal barrels was going on in the yard, they said, adding all the injured were being treated at a local private hospital in Mapusa.
The scrap yard is bordering Karaswada industrial estate, located in the town.
