Mangaluru, May 11: The much awaited Konkani devotional album 'Mog Thuzo Sarvespora' composed and directed by Franklin C Rodrigues Siddakatte, was released in Dubai on April 29 and in India at St Patricks Church Siddakatte, here on May 1.
The album was first inaugurated at Dubai by Joseph Mathias along with Franklin and his wife Sharal, Cynthia and Steven Pinto and Joyson Pais on the stage. Joyson Pais anchored the release and the speech delivered by Joseph Mathias was a support to the album.
In India the album was inaugurated at St Patricks Church, Siddakatte, in the city by parish priest Fr Antony Lasrado along with Fr Joachim Fernandes, Victor Fredrick Rodrigues, Eugine Nathalya Rodrigues, Apoline Gomes, Lawrence Menezes, Ronald Fernandez, Praveen D'Costa and Sunil Sequeira. Sunil Sequeira anchored the release and the speeches were delivered by Praveen Dcosta and Fr Antony Lasrado.
The young and talented composer Franklin and lyricist John D'Silva and Praveen D'Costa worked hard towards the success of the album.
The album became a super hit and was liked and well appreciated by many people in the Gulf countries as well as in Mangaluru.
The hymns were sung by the talented singers – Lydwin Cutinho, Joseph Mathias, Fr Richard Menezes, Melywn D'Souza Bendoor, John Dsilva, Calvin Rodrigues, Jessica Fernandes, Jane Maria, Roshan D'Souza and Francis Rodrigues.
Soprano voices by Melwyn D'Souza, Francis Rodrigues, Raina and Shilpa, alto voices were sung by Raina and Shilpa, bass voice by Frank Sequira and Joyson Pais, wonderful harmonization was done by Fr Richard Menezes OCD.
Franklin has composed heart touching tunes to the Hymns including mass track. 'Somyachi Mahima' song was composed by Melwyn D'Souza Bendoor and 'Undya Rupar' and 'Ye Muja Jezu Christa' by Praveen D'Costa.
Darrel Mascarenhas a well known famous music director has given his best for this album. The entire programming, mixing and mastering was done by him at USA.
The audio recording of this album was done at Daijiworld Studio by Ashith, Kalasangama by Nanson, Sandesha digitals by Joel Pereira and in Dubai by Joyson Grynal D'Souza.
The cover design and printing was done by Antony Digitals Bengaluru.
