Kasargod, May 10: National vice president of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, will be campaigning for the candidates fielded by the United Democratic Front (UDF) for the forthcoming assembly election, in the town on Thursday May 12.
Gandhi will be addressing the rally which will be held at 5 pm on Thursday at Chattanchal ground located within Uduma assembly constituency. A number of Congress leaders from Kerala, UDF candidates from the district, and others, will participate. He will seek votes for Uduma constituency Congress candidate, K Sudhakaran.
Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to arrive in the state on May 10. He will take part in public meetings being held at 10 am at Kayamkulam, 3 pm at Nedumganda and 5 pm at Angamali on May 11.
Electioneering meetings have also been scheduled at 10 am on May 12 at Pattambi and 3 pm at Kozhikode besides the evening meeting in the town. After the evening public meeting, he will go to Mangaluru and return to New Delhi by flight, sources in the party informed.
