Mangaluru May 2: Mahesh PU college has clarified that the CID which is investigating the case regarding the PU question papers leakage has not raided any of their colleges.
In the press statement released to the media, they have stated the CID visited their campus in Mangaluru and asked certain details. The CID has not gone to any of their remaining colleges. The information requested by the CID has been promptly provided on time. The college is bound to cooperate with the CID in the investigations, said Mahesh PU college trustee Sujith Kumar.
"Some media, organizations and individuals have portrayed the visit as a raid and tried to convey wrong message to the society. Some TV, media and organizations are spreading propaganda to spoil the reputation earned by the college during the last seven years. It has pained our minds. Mahesh PU College has been imparting education in Mangaluru and other places since the past seven years. We are not involved in the leakage of the question papers. It is regrettable that we are being portrayed as offenders." reads the statement.
"We have the experience of providing excellent education for the last several years. We do not need to follow wrong ways" , states the communication.
