Betis (Spain), May 1 (IANS): FC Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo suffered a calf strain in his right leg towards the end of Saturday’s 2-0 La Liga win against Real Betis.
The Chilean called to be substituted with just a few minutes of the match left.
Goals from Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez helped the defending champions retain their top spot in the standings.
"Further tests on Sunday should reveal the true extent of the injury," a Barcelona statement said on Sunday.
Until now, Bravo had played all 34 league matches this season, conceding just 23 goals.
