Mangalore: Mescom Announces Power Cuts

MANGALORE, Oct 18: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM) Limited on Wednesday announced the power shutdown schedule for October, November and December in view of the development projects to be undertaken in sub-division number two. Supply will be disrupted between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to a press release from MESCOM.

Power supply to Derebailu, Konchady, Land Links, Bejai-Kapikad, Akash Bhavan, Prashanth Nagar, Kulur, Panjimogaru, Shantinagar, Kottara, Kottara Chowki, Infosys Technologies Ltd., Lady Hill, Chilimbi, Kaikamba, Ganjimath, Muchchuru, Kuppe Padavu, Kandavara, Adyapady, Yeda Padavu and adjoining areas will be disrupted on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Power supply to Bajpe, Karambaru, Permude, Yeyyadi, Padavinangadi, Vamanjoor, Pachchanady, Moodushedde and surrounding areas will be disrupted every Wednesday.

Kudroli Alake, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Lalbagh, Urwa Market, Kodial Guthu, Lady Hill and adjoining areas will not have power supply on Tuesdays.

Bengre, Kottara, Kodikal, Ashok Nagar, Urwa, Katipalla will not have power supply on Thursdays.

The Bykampady industrial area, Hosabettu, Kulai, Katipalla Gudde, Suratkal and adjoining areas will have to go without electricity on Sundays. Gurupura, Adduru, Malali and adjoining areas will not have power supply on Wednesdays and Fridays.
