Technical snag hits Delhi Metro's Red Line

New Delhi, April 15 (IANS): Services on the Red Line - Kashmere Gate to Dilshad Garden - of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) were affected on Friday as the trains were running late due to a "technical snag", officials said.

"The overhead wire on the Red Line wore out at two places between Kashmere Gate and Dilshad Garden stations, which is being worked out," a DMRC spokesperson told IANS.

Services between these staions later were diverted on a single track, he said, adding that services from Rithala to Tis Hazari stations on the route remained normal.
