Drawing Competition at Taluk-Level Held

Kundapur, Oct 10: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, drawing competition at Taluk level was organized under the aegis of Bharat Seva Dal of Kundapur taluk committee in association with the Siddapur Rotary club in Kundapur regional resource center here recently.

The competition was held on drawing Gandhi’s picture.

Purushotham Bhat, president, Siddapur Rotary club presided over the function. Prabhakar Mithyanth, regional resource center official distributed the prizes.

Padmanabha Aithal, president, elect Rotary club, Manjunath Sheregar, secretary, Bharat Seva Dal, Rajiv Shetty, Basruru were the chief guest.

YS Haragi, headmaster, Voderhobli School and others was present on the occasion.
U Chandra Shaker Holla, president, Kundapur Bharat Seva Dal presented the keynote address.

BJP Candidates Felicitated for Successful Elections
 
The people of the state will surely teach Devegowda and Kumaraswamy a good lesson in the next assembly elections, said Dr VS Acharya.

He was speaking on the occasion of felicitating the successful BJP candidates in the recently held rural urban local elections, which was held in the public hall of Sharon Hotel here recently.

Dr Acharya said that both father and the son were traitors. They failed to keep up the solemn promise made to the BJP.

He reminded the gathering that as a minister it was his last public meeting.  Some 15 BJP candidates and 18 gram panchayat’s presidents and vice-presidents who successfully fought the elections were honored on the occasion.

Mani Gopala, president of Kundapura town BJP presided over the function. Hitesh Poojary, youth leader of Samajawadi party joined BJP on the occasion. Halady Srinivas Shetty, Kundapur MLA was also present on the occasion.
