Kundapur, Apr 4: “While only devotees of particular religions visit their places of worship, educational institutions are in reality the true places of worship that welcome people of all religions”, said Udupi Palimaru Mathadeesha Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji.
He was speaking in Dr B B First grade college campus after inaugurating the new building for the college on Sunday, April 3.
“While one feels happy by offering pulses, gold, silver and money to the deities, the value of a person increases by providing value based education. We can achieve desired success when we receive education and blessings in abundance. People should cooperate with the government to start educational institutions conducive to the
development of society”, he said. Kundapur Education society president B M Sukumara Shetty presided over the programme.
MLC Kota Srinivasa Poojary, former MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Vice president of town municipal council Rajesh Kaveri and Canara Bank Chief Manager Vishnudas Bhat were the Guests of Honour.
